| Last fall our 25' 1020 developed a lot of vibration and I found that the cutter bar broke where it bolts to the wobble box support/A frame. We left it until now and I have replaced the A arm bushings, but I'm noticing that the pieced of light angle iron that connects to the skids near the left side doesn't line up with the A arm holes. The bar is still broken also and costs $771 from CNH.
So:
1. would the misalignment be corrected by disassembling the cutter bar and getting everything 'realigned' or is something else bent?
2. if I have the cause of the vibration corrected (bushings hopefully), can I just weld the cutter bar nice and be done or will it just break again and I need to spend near $800.
thanks
