01-05 are the easiest to do. Go on line and find a company that makes a kit. They will do the wiring harness marriage. Makes life much easier. Have 2 of them done. Both with Ford automatics. The kit guys do the programming of the ECU's. Sometimes it takes 3 or 4 updates to get them right.

The one in our 550 service truck is a little light on ponies, but the 350 runs pretty good. Had a trailer load of cows last Saturday. She ran along 70-75 like no bodies business. Think the 550 is a 01 and the 350 is a 05, so there might be some difference in HP.
