Subject: Ubiquiti power

NNW Nebraska
I am using a Ubiquiti nanostation to get internet to my son's house. Sorce of internet is at a location where only power available is 12 volt dc from solar power. Presently using a small inverter to 120 volts ac. Inverters are not lasting to well. Mostly fans crap out running 24/7.
Is there a better solution? Or a small inverter that will last? Possibly a small computer fan i could jury rig to the inverter.

Sounds like the Ubiquiti power supply is a switching power supply, is there something avaiable that would waste less power, and last?
