Subject: What is "high" for cash rents in Central Illinois anymore?

South Central Illinois
Recently bid on a farm in central Illinois that had a P.I of 140, 360 acres square. We bid in the upper 300's, I thought we form sure would at least be in the top 5. I was beat by $65.00 an acre. Is there some kind of magical 300 BPA corn out there that I don't know about? I give the guy credit who got it though, his pencil was sharper and more aggressive then mine. Is it time that we start setting for $15-$20 margins?
