You have to pay attention in inverted markets when you get bid vs the new crop. 200 may sound impressive but when the spreads are accounted for you may have sold 350 at harvest. You might still be smiling but if you are a basis trader your face is torn off and laying on the floor. Eventually basis follows the spreads .... don't resist, just let it happen.... | |
