Put one in if you can afford it. It makes life a lot easier. We put one in when we put the bin up. The dealer told us just put it in now because you will be putting it in next year if you don't. We have ours hooked in with a wet auger out of a wet bin. So as long as there is corn in the wet bin it stays at the level you set. They told us no matter how much time you spend setting grain spreaders they will never keep it level enough for good drying.
