Let me state up front while I own a MacBook Pro and an iPad and an iPhone I am not a fruity computer person.  I still think more like Microsoft xP.

I've yet to find a word processor or spreadsheet for this MacBook I was happy with.  And when I go to the AppStore and try to find something I just get frustrated.  Does anyone have a recommendation?  I looked at "Numbers"  I think it was 1 good review vs 28 DON'T BUY THIS reviews.

Someone said MS Office and OpenOffice were now available for Mac.  If so I sure haven't figured out how to get it.

Any suggestions?
