North Central Oregon | I used to keep up to date with the MS office suite on Mac. I tried Open Office and haven't gone back to the MS Office Suite. Was able to open everything I had made in Office...docs, excel, and PowerPoint. Best of all it's free.
I have also used numbers, the best thing about it is that it is easy to learn and has some very visually appealing charting and data display options. But for a full integrated suite I don't think you can beat OpenOffice.
