West Union, Illinois | We stumbled across this problem last year. I bought couple used bins from a neighbor and one idea was jack them up, put them on skids and drag them across the field to a site with a storage shed. We went so far as marking where the bins would be to see how they would affect us getting and out of the site. I had an (REA Co-op) engineer come look at it to see what kind of service we needed. The first thing was I needed to move them 75 feet. This put them in the middle of the driveway. We ended up putting them at a spot along a highway serviced by Ameren. Cost less to install, less per month to just have service, and less per KW hour to use. |
