Was it a good move? Looks tough based on few chems working.


I don't know yet. Just finished going across it with a second pass with the disk and it is in pretty good shape. I'll be sowing wheat on it in a month, and will plan on grazing calves in the winter.


Really isn't tough to control if you take it out early. It stops germinating when the soil gets hot. And I know the no-tillers don't like it, but I don't have trouble at all when I use a full rate of steel.



Ben, I've never seen road right of ways and ditches as thick with kocia as I have this year. Coming out of a 4 year drought, the little Kocia weed seeds I guess had just been waiting for more favorable conditions.
