I'm supposedly summonsed to serve between September and December of this year. According to the letter I'll only be picked to appear once in those 4 months. I'll be trying my damnedest to get out of it any way I can.
Maybe reconsider as I have never been called but my Father was on jury a couple of times and one was local jail inquiry in Windsor for some reason. After the jail jury thing he said they should send every high school student too check them out and maybe a few would realize what its like incarcerated. Kind of like voting and what dairyman 78 said that we are lucky to have that option . Never know when any of us may be accused of something even though innocent and be on the other side . Seems locally Windsor ,Ontario is busy in court with there own police force-from drugs/smuggling/beatings |
