Most, if not all of your earthworms are non native, just like honey bees. Earthworms were brought here by settlers from Europe and Asia.
Earthworms have changed the landscape of North America as much or more than any one thing introduced here by our forefathers. In many areas, especially woodlands, earthworms are causing much more harm than good.
