| Next month my wife and I are going to be going on a vacation that we had to put off last year. Because of a farm accident I ended up with a metal plate in my leg. What can I expect from the friendly people with the TSA? Do I get wanded, strip searched, or what? Would a note from my doctor explaining why my ankle sets off their metal detectors every time help at all? Should I plan on more time to get through security and if so how much more? Or should I just plan on two or three more days and just drive? | |
