Zabcikville, TX | We've been having hoof rot problems for a couple years now. Can't really figure out how it happens. For instance (numbers are approximate) move 60 steers to another farm, 5 end up with hoof rot. Move 50 heifers (being bred now), 8 end up with it. It seems consistently random, heifers, steers, cows, bulls, it doesn't seem to matter. Have washed trailer and looked closely for ANYTHING they could scrape their feet on causing the infection. ANY help or ideas are very much appreciated! | |
