Missouri | My dad just had to have one several years ago. I was too young to make breeding decisions, and he wanted on the "need some ear" fad that was going through our area at the time.
I'm pretty sure the dang thing used his nuts as a pogo stick as he could clear any fence you put in front of him. Spent way more time out of the pasture than he did in it and didn't get many cows bred either breeding season he was here. Guess it just wasn't hot enough in the pasture for him, or something. Sold every heifer out of him trying to scrub his existence from the place. The neighbors still talk about that bull from time to time as he made his rounds through just about every pasture near us during his year here and every time we go "bull shopping" mom makes sure there's no rodeo stock farms on the list. She swears he was half bucking bull. |
