About 5 years ago my banker was planting a garden behind his house. He was also a retired farmer, so knew what he was doing. It was a Saturday about noon, and he poured himself a stong drink of whiskey, and placed it by his lawn chair. He had also placed a small  'jar ' of furadan  ( a highly toxic fumigant type insecticide ) on the other side of the chair much earlier, to use as he got the ground ready.. He sat down in the chair, picked up the poison, thinking it was the liquor, and took a drink. He almost died, and will never fully recover.
