| That certainly is true. Daughter's 8 year old top of the line double door with freezer on the bottom (Kenmore...we're talking big bucks) bit the dust this year. I had a 1950's Frigidaire here in 1975 and used it for many years before buying a new one. Have had a couple new ones since then. Current one was new in the middle 90's. Was told new appliances....you are lucky to get 10 years out of them. Current washer & dryer are over 30 years old....but washer is probably on it's last legs. | |
