they are structured well yet bend when needed... when they are doubled up your boom would have to be dragging on the soil for anything to break... nonexistent in chest high corn...

i use one drop for spraying chems late in corn and 2 drops for nitrogen... go around 6-7 mph and use 90 foot of boom. id say i might break one "tip" per year from stress caused by leaves dragging at the sticks. i also increase my custom  application rate 50% of my broadcast rate
