It makes it easier to clean it before you remove lines and other items. I&T manuals are your friend, Actually are easier to understand than the jd manual, i have both. I overhauled the original pump once, and got a used pump the second time. Also put in the high capacity charge pump in the rear end, that made a big difference for an aging tractor. |
