Subject: Crystallized Fertilize

Schlegel Farms, Hagerstown Indiana
I just finished the fourth year with a used planter I bought. It had some crystallized liquid fertilizer in it when I got it. There wasn't any liquid visible in tanks but was around the outlets and I assume the values and other fittings.

Long story short, it has been a nightmare with this wanting to plug. I've even had trouble with the Redball floating gauges them self plugging.

I've pressure washed and ran several tankfuls of water through it in the four years trying to clean. This last year it only caused trouble a few times, but it still will plug.

What do you think my best cure for this would be. I've thought all new plumbing but was hoping there might be some type cleaner I could flush the system with that would break up and flush this stuff out.

All ideas welcome........TIA, Mark
