S Illinois | For Missouri to raise less total bushels than 2012 the state yield will need to be less than 80bu/acre. Are the big production counties in the far NW and the far SE that bad off? Even in 93 Mo averaged 90 bu/acre. How many acres out of 3.050 million acres of MO corn did not get planted? As of the 6-15 crop progress report 89% of the corn has emerged.
Edit: The 3.050 million is harvested acres. The latest prospective planting report had MO at 3.2 million, not sure of the amount of silage cut in MO, but the amount of unharvested acreage is about 30 thousand more acres than last year.
