I highly recommend booms 3X your planter width. 5X would be great too but if you need a sprayer that wide your planter is probably too small. It's nice following the planter tracks as you get a nicer ride and it's easier finding that first pass.

I like having the inductor as part of the sprayer versus a separate inductor. My inductor recirculates using the sprayer pump. Sometimes it takes me longer to add chemicals than filling the tank. I also underestimate how many acres I have left when doing a chemical change-over. I carry a few acres of chemicals on the sprayer and may need to add some more water from the 90 gallon fresh water rise tank and mix an acre or two in the field.

If you spray atrazine or any chemicals that require constant agitation a sparge tube is all but required. Sparge tubes impart a rolling motion in the whole tank. Settled material gets rolled back to the top of the liquid level.
