Subject: RE: Tandem grain truck

West Central Wisconsin
We have a '94 Kodiak with an Allison behind a 3116 Cat. Very handy for Dad to drive and easy enough for anyone else also. Have had zero problems in the 6-7 years we've had it. Can't recall the model but it has 1st, 2nd,2-4 and 2-5 on shifter. It launches the truck pretty good in 1st gear in the field. All in all I like the trans. I drove a single axle grain truck with the auto shift out of the field and into town once. Not bad but would take some getting used to. Joe
