Not hard at all. If you can turn a 18MM on a 1/2" drive then you can change or flip knives on a Deere moco. As far as wear any cutter bar of that design has the same issues. One bearing goes it throws bits of metal in the gears and bearings of the whole rig. The plus side is if shear hubs are good there should be no timing issues.
