...water allows you to cover more period. Most ground applied fungicide on vegetables gets something like 50 gallons/acre....just to insure total wetting of the plant. An AI nozzle at 75 psi won't get as good a coverage as an XR nozzle @40 psi. That's because the XR nozzle starts out putting finer droplets out than the AI....
