I had a summer internship in sales with one of the chemical companies back in 1998. There was a miscommunication between a grower, your dad if he was the manager back then, and myself. To this day, I still remember the butt chewing I got from your dad from the growers poor application method/poor timing and he (the grower) wanting to blame it on the herbicide. After seeing it was operator error and not the chemicals fault, and then relaying that info onto my boss, I guess I caught your dad on a bad day and he basically told me what the grower had told him in a not so pleasant way. Made me realize what some of these sales guys go through on a pretty consistent basis, whether they have it coming to them or not.
Long story short. Been awhile since I've been to one of your facilities. Glad things are good. I ended up farming instead of being in sales so I can give out the tongue lashings instead of receiving them. :) | |
