| I use CAMS. Sometimes wonder why. Sometimes glad that I do. CAMS advises grain sales, does not do the sales for you. I sometimes follow recommendations, sometimes don't, my decision. Most of my grain is sold and delivered to ADM. CAMS is not in the grain origination business, I don't think they can be according to their business plan. However others within Cargill will be glad to purchase your grain. In summary some people are blessed to know for sure the direction of the grain market, some on this forum I believe. I am not that lucky. I use CAMS just like an agronomist, a veterinarian, an attorney, etc. Just another piece of the puzzle. Works for some, does not for others. For me with Cargill word wide, they should have an insight of the big picture. They look further than my back yard, or this forum. Good luck in your decision. | |
