SE ND | Thought of trying that but never went through with it, for me I couldn't maintain a uniform depth in the past and that's where the advantage is in my situation. Now if I would have had air bags previously on my planter it might be tough to justify, I could set it high and have adequate in wheel tracks and excessive in other areas which some years you probably wouldn't even notice, the uneven depth was what I considered to be my biggest problem with my planter so that's what I corrected. There are other issues with seed size and singulation but I think even emergence is more important than perfect spacing and singulation. | |
