Looks like there will be a lot of hay brome hay around we've had an above average crop. Seems like most of it is pretty rank and a lot of hay has got wet.
And looks like a fair amount left from last year still around so I assume it will be under 70 a ton.
I would think the oats would dry down in a few days because they would have been froze once or twice.
I'm going to work the ground (marstail 4 ft tall), spread dry fertilizer, and sow some sort of cover anyway I just as well drill oats and if its a muddy fall I'll call it a cover crop and just let it go.
