KS and NE in eastern 3rd | The recently rally has been nice, but we are about right where we were sitting last year at this time when everyone was talking about hanging the seed sales guys. The levels we are at now are profitable if you have land and equipment cost in check. Are inputs too high? Probably, but if you've been responsible in other areas that you can control then you are probably looking at a profitable level with the current seed, fertilizer and chemical costs. | |
