Same here. After quite a research project I am surprised anyone uses pioneer. Our current innoculant is shipped cold. Kept in freezer until put in the dorhman applicator. Which is insulated. I don't understand how pioneer expects to protect their bugs by having them hang on the side of a very hot chopper in the sun. Our unit worked so sporadically that I couldn't honestly tell you if there product was anything more than water. As for the updates I install a new tube on the squeeze pump annually on the dorhman and adjust according to the flow meter. No product will work if applied incorrectly. I am completely satisfied using biotal 500 made by lallemand. Silage is cool to the touch in the trench and dramatically cuts down on the slimy film that would be generated in our summertime humidity. Works great on hmc in harvestore also. I am not a salesman just a very happy customer after many failed attempts with a pos pioneer applicator
