Needs to be a cheap throw away ear tag that is powered by solar. Shoots a location at users choice of time...every 12 hrs would be nice with the ability to demand a signal when needed. I think the tech is available and probably very affordable if developed. Get on kick starter and pitch it. Don't know if there are very many cow guys on there that would fund it but it's not a bad idea and could be used in several applications. I do know there are trace devices that can be attached to lease and rental equipment. Power source is a lot easier in that application but the power needed is minimal.
