Frytown, Iowa | Because gaps can be pivots as well. Runaway gaps (unfilled) are when the market moves so violently it rips the chart like ripping a paper in 2. It's now disconnected. After a runaway gap you can put a pivot in the gap or the immediate high after the gap. This fit better than the high after.
The reason for Andrews forks is to find price balance and flow. Gaps are an option, mod shiff fork is another... But true high and low pivots seem to still be king. | |
