michigan | Had a Amish guy help me with some roofing got talking to him he raises Holstein bottle calves on contract. He said he gets 50 dollars a head when they are 12 weeks old. The guy that owns the calves supplies everything. I figured that up it is only .60 cents a day or .30 cents per feeding when on milk. Can only have a 2 percent death lose or it comes out of his pay. Wow can u even heat the water for that. Is this the standard going rate. It would be a cold day somewhere before I fed calves for .60 a day haha | |
