I like that idea for the Deutsch connectors. where the tabs are on the ends. The roll pins release the tabs and allow the Channel lock to grip the plug. I have used two small screwdrivers to attempt to release and pry this style of plug out. This method should be better since with my method, the screwdrivers are at an angle.
