That wire run does sound challenging.

We use a Barco Clickshare system in one of our meeting rooms. I think it would work well for you if you can budget for it. Each computer has this transmitter connected to a usb port. To switch, just press the button on the desired computer. If a guest speaker brings their own laptop, just plug a button into it.
