| Wireless projectors are a pretty standard feature of meeting rooms. The old ones may require some tweaks, like you need to change the screen resolution on your laptop first if the projector does not support the same high resolution, but you can even play Blu-ray movies.
I don't think there's any compression on projectors, even Blu-rays are heavily compressed and can't be compressed much more. Spreadsheets or Powerpoint slides don't require any meaningful bandwidth compared to videos, so that should not be a problem either. Maybe compression occurs if the resolutions of your computer and your projector do not match. Both devices are digital, so it's a perfect 1 to 1 match if it's the same resolution. | |
