My old Dell Vostro 1540 with Windows 7 has been "hanging" a lot more than usual lately. Neither Malwarebytes or Microsoft Security Essentials can find a virus. The laptop only has 2 Megs of memory and that may be the cause. Windows Task Manager shows very low or no free memory and low available memory when this occurs. Am I on the right track? If so how much should I add? Task Manager shows 67 processes and I can not identify most of them. Is there a program that can identify them and give me the option of eliminating the ones I do not need? Searching each one individually is a slow process. Thanks in Advance Jim
