I just tried a 30' a few days ago to try to get some corn residue chopped up a little more and was not impressed as it wanted to push dirt just like a regular disc. Two issues. 1)The field was worked and fairly loose. 2)The 30' machine is rigid and the wings do not float at all to follow ground contour.
I would like to try the Norwood Kwik-Till as it is operated with the hydraulics in float and with the large tires on the front of the machine should have much better depth control.
