| Working on a friends STX325 with a manual 24 speed/high low trans. No BOOKS. I haven't layed under it to analyze the lines that run to the axles/reservoir/trans yet but does this 24 speed manual run the same oil as the hydraulic system or is it self contained? There are two fill necks -one to the trans and one to the hydraulic reservoir. Is there a check plug or dipstick for the trans? How about the axles? Are they totally lubed by hydraulic oil or how do you check the levels? Any help would be great. Been around the PS versions but this one seems quite different.
