Subject: Case-IH 1063 gathering chain drive upper seal replacement.

West Central Iowa

I would like to replace all of the upper seals on the gathering chain drive shafts......anyone have any tips on how to get the old ones out. I know I can try to pull them with a couple of self tapping screws, but from past experience on other seals, I know that method does not always work.

Does Case-IH offer any special tools for pulling and installing these seals?
