Subject: 540 implements on 1000 rpm pto only tractors.

I just bought my first tractor last week. It's a Deutz allis 9150. Mainly I will be using it to run a 20 ft drill. I would also like to use it to do pto work with livestock equipment. will I have enough power when running at 1230 engine Rpms w/ a 540 adaptor to power most implements? Will this save fuel or should I look for 1000 pto implements when the time comes? Is there a a way to know roughly how much pto hp I have when running at 1230? Pretty inexperienced with all this so thanks for the help.
