NE Iowa | All my cows get a 7-way with pinkeye vaccination when they get their pre-breeding shots. My cows are too old and wise to stick their head in the headgate so they don't get a fly tag. They stank still in the chute for shots but can't catch them. The calves all get 2 fly tags. I tend to buy the cheapest I can find and use one of one kind in one ear and a different kind in the other. Usually try to put a pyrithren on one side and arganophosphate in the other. The calves also get pinkeye vaccinations. | |
