| Yes, you need to take out your moisture pads and put in the restrictor plates. they are a half moon disc that keeps the hay away from the sides of the bailer. It creats less drag but does not affect the density of the bale. I use them on everything. You will notice a diffrence. it takes less horsepower and you chains and sprokets will last a lot longer as well. Alot less wear and tear on the bailer. It is a must in baleage or you will have the biggest tightest plug you can imagine! Its not fun unplugging high moisture hay. | |
