SWOntario | I think it was a fluke but vet said it was tetanus. I found him laying down stiff as a board and bloated. Vet said poke him asap so I did but couldn't get much out of him. The vet put the corkscrew plug in him and we pushed and squeezed trying to get him drained. Then he got a shot of penicillin, an anti toxin and a dose of steroid. I continued them every 12 hours for 36 hours and he seemed to be coming around, head as up and seemed a bit perky. I went and fed the other cows, came back and he was dead. | |
