+ 1 on cadet or resource. there are a couple reasons glyphosate can have a hard time with velvet leaf, one is that it has a thick cuticle, hard for pesticide to get through, so timing is important.     also there is something about the charge that a velvet leaf has, it has the tendency to bind up the glyphosate molecules before it can translocate to the roots.
