We have a no of spots that are pretty. Right now at 5:00 the storage is 85,000 acre feet. It is a concern of everyone that the lake is drained down, but seldom is it drained too far.It was planned that it would be for irrigation. I saw it fill up in 1982 in one day. Also I was told yesterday by one of the irrigation people here that a lot of the silt coming in will be swept out when they do open the irrigation run because it comes out of the bottom of the dam. I also agree that there is a lot of silt in the lake. O was told by one of our senators that it would cost over 4 million dollars to take the silt out, It usually is a very good walleye lake, but it as been hit twice in the past 2 years with a golden algae.
