so Grainbinder, as I have stated in past posts, we use full no-till with 3 spray passes all the way to full tillage with one and variations in between. Is the point you are trying to make is that no-till uses too much chemical, it's too expensive or what? Not trying to fight, just trying to grasp the point you are trying to make


My point is, yes, notill uses alot of chemicals to make it work while never hearing much about increased chemical usage. Its always mentioned of decreased fuel usage, soil saved, less passes over the field, and these are all true. The big negative is all the extra chemical, and on flat land? Really? know one wants to state the fact they'd never get done planting if they had to do tillage on every acre because everyone wants to keep getting bigger and more acres. Yep it allows for more acres at the cost of more and more chemicals.
