| Gary, that took guts to get on here and say some tillage may work!!!! That being said, I've seen it both ways here. Some years we push the limits with no-till, slot won't ever close, beans come up works good. In those years on our muckier soils chances of tillage are slim. About as often as not, those same years it turns off dry and the guys that worked ground wish they hadn't, no-till will way out yield. Other years and fields it's just tight and tillage can help loosen things up, no one size fits all here, make the call on the fly best you can | |
