Not even sure why you are complaining. This is like everything in life, some people are different than others. True, some have college debt and never amount to anything, but I know farmers that buy a bunch of machinery on credit and they never amount to anything either. Oldest son is an accountant, paid his loans off years ago, second son has an MBA, works as a financial officer at a bank and has his loans almost paid off. His wife graduated from U of Louisville 2 weeks ago with a doctor of dentistry degree, has a wonderful job lined up in WI pending her passing her final boards. Doubt she'll have trouble paying off her loans either. Daughter is a high school science teacher, never had much in loans since she got so much scholarship money. Her hubby is working on his electrical engineering degree, don't expect a problem there either. As I said, it boils down to the kids, but at any rate, student loans aren't forgiven, even in bankruptcy. Why are you so concerned?
